-COMMUNITY-
We love Sutton and are committed to making a difference in our local area by serving generously and abundantly, connecting with people to see lives transformed both physically and spiritually.
Over this last year the needs of our local community have increased. Our response is to lean, more than ever, into what we believe God has called us into.
We have a range of compassion ministries that the Lord has spoken to us about and called us to invest in for our community. This includes Warm Welcome, Lighthouse and we are just about to launch Grace Advocacy. We also run a weekly toddler group, Wendy House, for parents/carers and their babies/toddlers.
We are also one of the local churches that make up Sutton Community Works who exists to do things that can be done better across churches. They oversee the running of Street Pastors, School Pastors, Foodbank, Winter Shelter Projects and Sutton Community Shop.
As you see the needs around you - in your local area, your neighbours, your work colleagues, your friends and wider - we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus and care for those when in need. As you care for people, reach out to your small group so they can pray and support you. If you need greater support from the church you can get in touch with us.
If you want to get involved in any of our community projects you can get in touch with us by emailing community@suttonvineyard.org
